Movies that I watched in 2006, in theaters:
Brokeback Mountain -- well acted and directed, but overhyped
Fun With Dick and Jane -- cute, but not memorable
King Kong -- very enjoyable
Casanova -- about the same as Fun With Dick and Jane
Chronicles of Narnia -- surprisingly good
Da Vinci Code -- better than the book, take that however you like
Failure to Launch -- funny, a good time
Superman Returns -- really good, very well done, Brandon Routh is a great Superman
Mission Impossible 3 -- maybe the best of the three, possibility for my next career
A Prarie Home Companion -- I didn't hate it, and I thought I would
Snakes on a Plane -- only saw the first half, which was superb (meaning awful, meaning superb)
Talladega Nights -- saw the second half of this the same night as Snakes, this movie was dumb
Cars -- awesome, Pixar couldn't make a bad movie if they tried
Casino Royale -- fantastic, what a great James Bond movie
Borat -- very funny, but not the "funniest movie ever" as many say
Blood Diamond -- a solid action movie, I don't hate Leo DiCaprio as much as I did in the Titanic days
Rocky Balboa -- I liked this a lot, a very nice way to end the series
Stranger Than Fiction -- really good, Dustin Hoffman was great
Night at the Museum -- decent, pretty funny, but nothing I'd ever watch again
